(OTCBB:PCTU) is introducing the NoiseBuster® Electronic Noise Canceling (ENC) Earmuff to the hardware and lawn and garden markets at this week’s National Hardware Show and Lawn and Garden World in Las Vegas.  The benefits of noise canceling technology have been understood by aviation and the military for many years.  The consumer audio industry has also adopted the technology and noise canceling headphones are often seen on airplanes and on noisy city streets.  Now this breakthrough technology is available to consumers in an earmuff that can protect their hearing while doing noisy household and lawn chores.

Unlike traditional passive-only earmuffs, the NoiseBuster Earmuff provides more complete protection from a wider range of noise frequencies, particularly the low frequency noise generated by lawn equipment and many power tools.  Low-frequency noise is particularly fatiguing and stress producing.  The passive component of the NoiseBuster Earmuff cuts mid- and high-frequency noise by as much as 26 dB.  The electronic noise canceling electronics provide up to 20dB of added low-frequency noise reduction.  The earmuff is priced at $149.
